Remblandt Assemblage

Remblandt Assemblage (9:45):
1:00: weird ambiance
3:00: something resembling horns. or a guy blowing his nose.
i dunno, this was pretty relaxing after the shitfest that was Metal Acoustic Music

Voice of Schwitters (2:09)
the entire thing: GEE I SURE LOVE RECORDINGS OF A GUY BLOWING HIS NOSE

at least it's only 2:09

Theme of Dadaist (9:38)
2:00: pling pling pling. no noise so far, thank god.
4:20: this is more of a guitar solo than 'Untitled Guitar Solo'. really, the entire thing is just a distorted guitar solo along with random tapping percussion.

Hans Arp (1:47)
0:10: MORE NOISY GUITARS
0:50: HOLY SHIT AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR

Tape Dada (5:54):
0:34: PLING PLING PLING
1:25: sounds like a washing machine. VRRROOM VRRROOM
3:04: some pretty neat percussion here actually.
3:30: this is tolerable, bordering on good! guitars have died down a lot.

i have decided i like merzbow when he uses lots of percussion.

Music Concert (2:34):
0:04: OH BOY, A TOILET FLUSHING! i can tell this song is going to be great!
0:30: no noise, sounds like he's hitting a pot with a stick.
1:10: PLING PLING PLING
1:34: more toilets

Prepared Guitar Solo 1 (17:33):
1:34: WEEEEEEEOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
5:07: i love how merzbow's definition of a guitar solo is plucking one or two chords slowly
6:20: OH BOY DO I LOVE FEEDBACK
8:30: more hitting of pots and pans
10:14: random guitar noodling and more PLING PLING PLING. this guy must have been pretty bored when he was preparing this.
15:46: i am reminded of a very off-key, very boring Sonic Youth song.

Prepared Guitar Solo 2 (3:59):
1:10: amidst all the PLING PLING PLING i thought he was playing a distorted riff, but it turned out to be my next door neighbour's motorbike
2:03: guitar fades out, replaced by something similar to bubble wrap
3:00: i thought there was a bass guitar somewhere in here but it was just the motorbike again

VERDICT: the last two tracks take up almost half of the album but aside from that this is close to good, and doesn't hurt your ears. recommended!
